How long does a redesign take?
The timescale depends on the size of the website, what needs keeping, how quickly content and feedback are supplied, and whether any custom functionality is required. I’ll confirm the expected schedule before work begins.
My current site isn't on WordPress. Does that matter?
No. The harvest — content, structure, imagery, rankings — works the same whether your site is on Squarespace, Wix, Drupal or anything else. Every rebuild lands on the same performance-first WordPress stack, and every changed URL gets a redirect.
How is a website review better than Google's free PageSpeed test?
PageSpeed Insights gives you a score. A proper website review looks at why the score is what it is, which pages actually earn your traffic, what your copy is doing to enquiries, what’s worth keeping, and what should happen next — in plain English.
Do I have to move hosting?
No – but if your hosting is part of the speed problem, the review will say so and I’ll recommend a sensible alternative before anything changes.
Can I edit the site myself afterwards?
Yes. Every site I hand over can be edited by you – text, prices, photos – and I show you how before launch.
What does it cost?
The review price has not been finalised yet. If a rebuild makes sense, I quote a fixed price before work starts – never an hourly rate, never a surprise invoice.
What if the review says my site is fine?
Then I tell you that. The point is to decide with facts, not to sell you a rebuild. Sometimes the answer is a handful of fixes — if so, that’s what I’ll say.
